I have sent a faster payment request from my bank account but I have inadvertently put an old transaction reference on it. Is there any way to trace this or has it been lost?

I assume that with transaction reference you mean the address you sent the payment to? – cdecker Jan 9 at 19:21
I'm not sure this is the best place to ask this. You may want to ask your bank how to reverse the payment request, because banks can do that (but it may not be free!). If you mean that you've send Bitcoin, then no, it cannot be reversed. – Colin Dean Jan 10 at 17:00
Hi martin, who did you send this payment to? Most likely this question will be closed as your question should probably be directed to either the entity you sent the payment to or to your bank. – eMansipater Feb 8 at 5:41
