Can someone help me understand if can a blockchain observer link the inputs of a user to their change outputs in any way?

While reading about blockchain observer links, I also came across the term "Denominator Outputs". Does that mean the standard satoshi denomination?

  • Can you give a URL where you're reading about these terms? I'm unfamiliar with denominator outputs or blockchain observer links. Jan 10 at 21:46
  • @PieterWuille - So a Blockchain observer is just any tool helping to identify (link) what's happening inside the blockchain. Here's an example: splunkbase.splunk.com/app/2625

  • @PieterWuille - As for Denominator Outputs, I'm honestly not sure what do they mean. But I read this statement "there are several instances of denominator values in Blockchain" somewhere.

  • I'm afraid you're going to have to give more context. This isn't standard terminology w.r.t. Bitcoin. Jan 10 at 23:03
  • @PieterWuille Let me expand my question so the terminology is clearer. Is it feasible for someone observing the blockchain to link the inputs of a user to their change outputs? If so, how can this be done?
