The US mint prints $541 million dollars every year. This robs us by making our dollars worth on average about 2 cents less each year.

Bitcoins are generated in blocks. Today, a block contains 25 new bitcoins. A new block is generated every 10 minutes.

25 * (current worth of a bitcoin, 2800) = $70000 in bitcoins generated each 10 minutes.

1440 minutes in a day, $10168560 of bitcoins created out of thin air each day.

Why isn't this decreasing bitcoins value? Why does bitcoin go up even when so much more coins are created each day?
