I just wonder what is the maximum of tick per second for cryptocurrency. On theory every second can have thousands of ticks, but in real word I think this is not real world.

  • Yes, what is the maximum of transactions per second for cryptocurrency? – D Todorov Jan 20 '18 at 20:33

Technically in Computer Science you can define your own clock. Usually you have 100000 or 1000000 ticks per Second. Thus Works well. The Clocks in computers are accurate enough. Many Computer-hardware-clocks and computer-cpus can have much more ticks. But what does this have to do with bitcoin? Ticks per second are not relevaant for cryptocurrencies

  • I mean in market what is the real max amount of transaction per second that can reach? – D Todorov Jan 20 '18 at 20:35
  • This does not seem to answer the question. – Pieter Wuille May 6 '18 at 1:36
