I am trying to fork litecoinJ for an altcoin because they are both using a similar algorithm (scrypt) using Ubuntu 16.04. This is so I may build and android wallet for it. To build the project, I use the command in the examples directory where the POM file is located: "mvn clean package" and even "sudo mvn clean package" and I get following build failure error:

I have not only tried running this with the altcoinJ, but also for both litecoinJ and bitcoinJ and I get the same error. It seems that this issue has occurred for others, but there does not seem to be a posted solution. I know I am missing a repository but I do not know which one?

Perhaps there is a simple solution to this, but I cannot seem to find it. Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Here is the link for litecoinJ for reference: https://github.com/hank/litecoinj
