An "extended public key" can be used to generate additional public keys or sequences of public keys that all correspond to a single master private key. This scheme permits a counterparty or online device to derive many unique output scripts without having access to the private key material. It is a concept related to the "hierarchical deterministic wallet" scheme defined in BIP32. On mainnet, extended public keys use the prefix `xpub` in Base58 encoding.

Does a set of private keys have a different XPUB and ZPUB for single signature and multisig?

I was expecting the XPUB and ZPUB for each individual keystore to be the same as those in the single signature wallets for the same device. However, the XPUB and ZPUB were different. … If so, do the XPUB and ZPUB change depending on the signature of the multisig wallet? …
