How do SPV clients acquire transactions from other nodes and verify that they are part of the blockchain?

I found out that SPV has no mempool, but although SPV client is participating in transaction verification. So, what happens when node verifies transaction? Is SPV client checking only owner's outgoing ...

Why does a thin node need to know if a transaction is present in specific block's merkle tree?

Why would a thin node want to know information like this ? They quite possibly don't care about exactly which block the transaction was included in, but they most certainly care about knowing the ...

Do full nodes store the complete merkle tree or do they regenerate it when creating a merkle proof?

Bitcoin Core, in its BIP37 implementation, will compute the Merkle proofs on the fly. It does not store the blocks' Merkle trees anywhere (only its root is stored).

What guarantees the validity of merkle root used in the merkle inclusion proof?

Generally, thin-clients at least download, validate, and store the header for each block. Since the Merkle root is part of the header, they already know all the Merkle roots for the whole blockchain. ...

How do you get Sibling Hashed Values in a Merkle Proof?

But the Merkle Root is not enough to prove a transaction is in a block. All the sibling-values up the Merkle Tree are needed. Where do these values come from if they aren't already stored? Any full ...

Is the hash of ZMQ channel blockhash a merkleroot hash?

As the name suggests, it is the block hash, not the merkle root hash. It is the hash of the block header which includes the merkle root hash. To learn whether your tx is included in a block, you will ...

How/where is the mapping of a transaction to a particular block stored?

The merkle tree is dynamically recreated to validate it in a block, the order of transactions in the block implicitly describe what the merkle tree should look like when reconstructed. The ...

How does a Merkle proof differ from the Merkle tree?

Merkle proofs are not for blocks nor is there a singular "the merkle proof." Merkle proofs are for transactions. They prove that a particular transaction is contained within a particular ...

Why does a thin node need to know if a transaction is present in specific block's merkle tree?

TL;DR: A Merkle branch provides costly-to-fake indicator that a transaction is actually part of the blockchain. The cost of forging a Merkle branch is sufficiently high to deter some attacks on low-...

How Does the SPV merkle path form of multiple transactions in Merkle block looks like?

bip37 has fallen out of use, and isn't a default option in Bitcoin Core anymore, so therefor filtered blocks aren't really a consideration for new designs. You could conceivably have a format for ...

How do people using thin clients know the correct merkle path of transactions they've sent without knowing the full block?

User A send a transaction to user B. Those transactions are bundled together into a merkle tree. User A and B can both use the transaction plus the merkle root, plus the merkle path to prove the ...

What is a mechanism of providing Merkle Path?

They may dislike compute to find transaction if they have to sequence search because they are busy to find hash value of block to earn block reward You are confusing mining with node operation. It ...

Merkle Audit Proofs of Certification vs. Bitcoin Merkle Proofs

We have a unique merkle root for each block in Bitcoin. Next block's merkle root does not use the merkle root of the previous blocks as a proof. As a result we do not have old merkle tree hash and new ...
