  • If rbf=True for the transaction I think you can increase the fee in the replacement transaction. – Prayank Dec 18 '20 at 22:05
  • but with which command :) – Oleksandr IY Dec 19 '20 at 10:52
  • payto command is used to create a transaction with one output – Prayank Dec 19 '20 at 11:11
  • but transaction is already in the bitcoin network, now I need add some extra fee – Oleksandr IY Dec 19 '20 at 12:22
  • If the transaction is not confirmed and RBF was enabled, you can create and broadcast another transaction to spend same UTXO with more fees – Prayank Dec 19 '20 at 12:25

I tried the below commands to replace RBF enabled tx with more fees but it didn't work:

electrum.util.NotEnoughFunds: Insufficient funds

So I got the error "Insufficient funds" while trying to create replacement transaction with everything same except fees increased.

I tried to bump fee using GUI and it worked: https://blockstream.info/testnet/tx/a2a5ecfb71133762985d0869148544cafd4d05dbf78cc5a1e6c2381095f49145

Maybe I will create an issue on GitHub or respond to the above mentioned link and check if its possible to create replacement transaction using CLI.
