There are several arguments that would help quelm this. For starters, not every user on the network has to have a copy of the entire blockchain. They may only require the last $n$ blocks to sync with the network. Not every user must be a full node. The full nodes would store the entire blockchain. Additionally, Moores law states that size should not be an issue in 2140.
@SalvadorDali so no one bats an eyelid on this site when they refer to Satoshi as a 'he', but when someone refers to Satoshi as a 'her', they gawk and question the probability Satoshi could be a woman...
Whilst the OP has already mentioned that they're not talking about using it to hear water, I was saying that engineering would be needed as you wouldn't just plonk a pot of water on top of your mining rig to boil.
I think your comments are quite broad and may be slightly unfounded without empirical evidence, it's anecdotal. I personally don't know about the background of CZ nor what this has to do with altcoins either.
I have some issues with your point in the first and second paragraph. Surely some of the energy will be converted to electrical energy and not thermal energy. The mining equipment, outputs electrical energy and thermal energy. Not only and all thermal energy. Furthermore, no piece of equipment is entirely 100% efficient either.
